In the vibrant streets of New York, the police captivate with their chiseled bodies and unwavering strength as they fearlessly protect and serve the community. Their alluring blend of heroism and sensuality leaves passersby captivated, unable to resist their irresistible allure.

Technical Details

I created this collection of police officer portraits, primarily to provide AI-generated photography as a means of clarifying the distinction between photography and photorealistic renders for a client who was seeking a commission. He had difficulties grasping the subtle differences and nuances between the two mediums.

The majority of my creations lean towards photorealistic, as I have a personal affinity for that near-photographic aesthetic, while still maintaining a distinct illustrative or 3D-rendered quality. However, AI-generated images specifically designed to resemble photographs have a visually different look, despite both aiming to achieve a realistic appearance.

To put it in words, AI-generated photographs are images created with the purpose of replicating the physical properties of light, while the photorealistic style incorporates artistic elements in terms of lighting conditions and color palettes. Although one can certainly arrange photoshoots with artistic lighting, the outcome is still rooted in optics. On the other hand, in the realm of photorealistic works like 3D renders, one has the freedom to incorporate lighting conditions that may defy physical possibilities, yet serve to enhance the artistic vision.

All of these images were generated using Virile Reality V3 Beta (Civitai), a recently released prerelease version shared by Scratchproof. The outstanding quality of the renders truly exceeded my expectations, even though I utilized relatively low settings (Euler a 20+10) on my local machine. It’s worth noting that no post-processing was applied to these images, so the colors and contrast are straight from the raw renders from Stable Diffusion.
